Nokian Tyres Powerproof 2 UHP Summer Tires — Maximum Control at High Speeds
Nokian Tyres Powerproof 2 is an Ultra High Performance (UHP) summer tire engineered for high-powered passenger vehicles. The model delivers flawless sports handling, extremely short braking distances, and total predictability during high-speed maneuvers on both dry and wet pavement. An ideal choice for dynamic driving on highways and winding roads.
Dual Safety Zone Concept
The asymmetric tread layout is divided into two functional areas. The outer shoulder zone guarantees precise steering response and rock-solid straight-line stability on dry surfaces. The inner zone provides rapid water evacuation, minimizing the risk of hydroplaning.
Power Lock Core Reinforced Casing
A high-strength nylon cord layer is placed directly beneath the tread. This technology prevents tire deformation caused by centrifugal G-forces, preserving tread shape stability during aggressive high-speed lane changes.
Next-Generation Hydro Grip Compound
The advanced tread compound is tailored to excel in tricky wet conditions. It establishes intimate contact with wet road surfaces at the molecular level, delivering confident braking without compromising overall tread life and abrasion resistance.
Silent Groove Design Acoustic Comfort
Hemispherical indentations on the walls of the longitudinal ribs (resembling golf ball dimples) smooth out airflow patterns. This engineering feature lowers cabin noise, reduces aerodynamic drag, and cools the rubber compound to prevent overheating.
